episode summary

It's a day of highs and lows for Clyde Connolly this week. He drives the team mad with his new flash lifestyle of fast cars and new clothes and his ego isn't exactly harmed when a television crew decides on making documentary on him. Seeing this, Stuart decides its time to bring Clyde down a peg or two. He has a word with the television crew and makes them see that a documentary on Ryan would be a much better story, after being called up to the England squad along with Luke. Clyde sees this as an insult and this is just the beginning of a war of words with the Harchester gaffer.

Meanwhile, money hungry Donna sees that the claim with the Boyles is going nowhere and decides to dump Dean and sets her sights on seducing Clyde. The news doesn't go down well with Tony who, instead of comforting his son, is more worried by the fact that Donna will reveal all about the tout who sold them the tickets on the day of the Everton match.

After being demoted to playing in a reserve game for his disrespect for Stuart, Clyde has had enough and publicly criticises Stuart through the press. This does not go down well with Stuart as you would expect and gives Clyde an earful and tells him he has one last chance to make things right, he has scheduled a press conference to sort out this mess.

Clyde, having had enough of Stuart, is determined to win the battle for the club and quizzes Donna about where the tickets came from. Although she remains adamant at first that they were genuinely bought, she decides to come clean all about the tout, but not before Clyde does something for her first.

As the press eagerly await the arrival of Clyde who seems to be running late, Stuart assures the press that Clyde will be with them shortly, unbeknown to Stuart that Clyde is in Las Vegas exchanging vows with Donna.
